Alessandra Beraldi
Alessandra is from Genoa, Italy and has been teaching Italian to children, undergraduates, and adults for over 30 years. She has taught at the University of Pennsylvania, several language institutions in England, and classes through the Italian General Consulate of London.
Alessandra moved to Silicon Valley, California with her family in 2000 and has lived in Marin County for over 10 years. In Marin, she has taught at the College of Marin and the Reed Union School District. In January 2020, she founded her own Italian Language School in Marin County: Italian with Alessandra where she teaches both private and group lessons for adults and children.
She also organizes Italian events for students and Italian lovers. Recently she started a monthly event: Pranzo in Italiano (Lunch in Italian) in Marin County which has allowed her students to experience Italian community and nurture long-term friendships through full immersion Italian conversation.
Outside of teaching, she loves cooking, hiking the beautiful Marin trails with her dog, Cara, and spending time with family and friends. Her love for Italy and passion for teaching has inspired her students to embrace the language and culture regardless if they are learning for travel, work, or personal enrichment.
